I am in process of being a PreOp Gastric Bypass patient. I would Of had my surgery already but due to an Insurance Change,all is new. New Dr. New Hospital new Staff. just everything is new. but I will go on.I have all 6 months worth of weigh ins done, have my psyche evaluation done, have attended 4 support groups with more to go to, need to go thru dietitian evaluation and have my first surgical consultation in Feb. of 2013...I am on 14 medications , Diabetes, High blood pressure, depression, sleep apnea,restless legg syndrome, osteoarthritis,high cholestrol. I THINK I HAVE IT ALL!!! I have lost from 279 to 228 since June of2012.most was worry from have a mini stroke, and tests that found a Brain Aneurysm, had that fixed now I am back on track  for Gastric Bypass Surger. Hopefully 2013 is the year. I am still quite a bit overweight. I can loose, but I also can regain back more when I do. I need this all so important tool to control my weight and my life. I have done two years worth of research, recipes, doctors, watched videos of success stories as well as not so successful ones. I have a great supporting family and friends. I also am a 57 yr.old grandmother who loves to sew and do crafts.I enjoy spending time with my "Prince" as well as the family.I also help with the care of my 87 yr old mother who is my over checker of every thing I sew or create.She too is a crafter.My favorite thing to sew is Memory bears. I love giving someone so treasured to have as a huggable memory for them that has lost a dear loved one. Also I make tinabears memory bears for any occasion, like birthdays, babies first bear,graduations,just about any occasion there is, I turn into a Memory.
